Cahill red card rescinded

Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill will not be banned after he won his appeal against his sending off at Tottenham at the weekend.
The Football Association have confirmed that the appeal lodged by Bolton has been upheld.
Cahill was dismissed at White Hart Lane following a late tackle on Scott Parker in the early stages of the Premier League clash.
Referee Stuart Attwell decided that Cahill denied Parker a clear goalscoring opportunity, despite the fact that the defender hauled down the 31-year-old some 40 yards from goal when the visitors had plenty of cover.
Now the FA have agreed and Cahill will not serve any suspension.
A statement from Wembley read: "Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill has had his claim for wrongful dismissal upheld.
"As a result, the one-match suspension handed to him has been withdrawn.
"Cahill had originally received a red card for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Saturday 3 December 2011."
